- Picturesque campus situated on 268 acres of land overlooking the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Much of the property is covered in Coastal Redwood and Sitka Spruce woodland dotted with open meadows. We have approximately 35 acres of turfgrass including athletic fields, large open lawns, and intimate emerald islands. 37 acres of landscaping completes the campus; most of which has been done in an informal scheme in order to create a seamless transition with the natural setting.

- $4.5 million in grants received by CR in 2009. $2 million being used to revitalize the the Shively Farm a working component of the college’s sustainable agriculture program. $2.5 from the Department of Labor to develop and expand 12 certificates and degrees for Building & Systems Construction and Maintenance, Diversified Health Care, and Management and Supervision.
