Introduction to Drawing

Have you ever wished you could draw? This course says you can! Sarah will focus on the mechanics of drawing using reality as a source and laying a foundation for beginners and amateurs alike.   The class will begin with basic line drawing in pencil, developing skills one step at a time, moving into value and shading with other dry media, such as charcoal along the way. The focus will be on realistic drawing both from life and photographs. Students are welcome to bring imaginative drawings to class for pointers as well!
