TRIO Student Support Services Program

Program Eligibility / How to Apply

 HOW DO YOU QUALIFY TO BE A SSSP PARTICIPANT?

• Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal resident
• Be enrolled in at least 12 units at College of the Redwoods, Del Norte.
• Have academic need

And meet one of the following criteria:

• Be a first generation college student (neither of your parents have received a four year college degree)
• Meet the federal guidelines as being a low-income student
• Have a Documented Disability

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BE A MEMBER OF THE STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES PROGRAM?

All services are free of charge to eligible participants

HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES PROGRAM?

1. Contact one of the Student Support Services Staff members or the main office for an application. 
2. Complete the confidential application
3. Return it to Marla Ovick in the Student Support Services office located next to the library.
