Join us in this 6-week class and create an acrylic painting focused on Spring colors and themes. Students will start with an idea and see it through to completion. Learn artistic skills, art appreciation, and new avenues of artistic expression.
Supplies required: Liquitex Acrylic limited palette paints (8 colors), brushes, palette, and canvases.

Learn how to use different hard and soft pencils with the students choice of emphasis in either graphite or colored pencil. Techniques to draw realistic looking renderings are presented for both beginners and intermediate drawing students. Color theory and composition are also covered in this class. This learning environment affords the drawing student both individual attention and positive group interaction.
Students provide own materials:
For Graphite only Students - 6 graphite pencils (2B, 4B, 2H, 4H, 6H), an eraser, drawing paper and simple hand-held sharpener
For Colored Pencil Students - The above graphite supplies plus a minimum of 12 Prismacolor artist colored pencils.
