Requirements |
There
are no requirements to attend on-campus meetings. All assignments are
completed online and emailed to me as attachments each week. Quizzes are
available online at College of the Redwoods Blackboard site. |
|
Student
Requirements |
Since
all documents are created using Word 2007 software and submitted
electronically via email, you must have the following available to you prior
to the first day of class: 1. Word 2007 software 2. Internet access (high speed recommended) 3. Current email
address |
|
Computer Set-Up
and Skills |
Online
courses require adequate computer skills. You should be able to navigate
websites, open and download files, create folders, and email attachments. It
is the student’s responsibility to meet the technological demands of the
course. |
|
Online Commitment |
Students
in an online class must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Your
commitment will require the same amount of time as you would dedicate to a
traditional on-campus class. |
|
Waitlist Policy |
Registration
is easiest online using web advisor. I do not have a waitlist. If the class
is closed, please do not contact me; you must add the class through the
College. |
|
Accommodations |
If
you need accommodations to succeed in this online class, you should contact
Disabled Student Services on the College of the Redwoods campus. |
|
Classroom “Time” |
This
online class requires weekly participation consistent with the College
semester schedule. The class will be available any hour with no requirements
to participate at any given time. Each week’s assignment is given a deadline
for submission, and points will be deducted for late assignments. |
|
