ADN COURSE SEQUENCE REQUIREMENTS

All nursing courses must be taken in sequence as listed.  Only students admitted to the ADN program can take nursing courses.  All nursing courses have prerequisites.  Students are responsible for checking the school catalog for academic prerequisites prior to each nursing class. Students without required prerequisites are ineligible to enroll in the next semester’s sequence of nursing classes and will be dismissed from the ADN program.  (See Readmission Policy)  Courses listed in the College of the Redwoods Catalog to satisfy General Education and additional requirements may be taken at any time prior to or after admission to the program.

All courses in the curriculum pattern must be completed for the student to be eligible for the licensing exam as a graduate of the program.  All degree and certificate course requirements must be completed with a grade of C or higher to satisfy graduation requirements for the Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
