The County History Day Projects were evaluated at HSU on Saturday. Three projects were "winners" and requested to be sent to Sacramento for the State-wide contest. Our two entries were both winners and are to be sent to the State-wide contest. The winning groups were: Melody Collver, Ana Cortez, and Ananda Gray-Stewart; and Alec Crawford, Ryan Filgas, and Isabelle Vanden Branden. The projects were created during Mike Chatfield's (Humanities) History Day Projects several weeks ago.The success of these first and second year students should make all of the AR Community proud. Congratulations.

A lot has happened in the last few months. The biggest change is the 11 unit cap for AR students taking CR college courses. Graduation is coming up fast and the school year is 2/3 done -- flying by.
This site has two recent changes: 1) the green background that you are watching--a request by CR to match our colors with the colors used throughout the CR website; and 2) A new Forum / discussion area for our community. You can reach the discussion area through the link above (AR Forum). There are two major topic areas on the forum: "About the Forums" and "The AR Constitution". We can easily set up a topic area for parents, AR committees, and such. Feel free to contact me if you would like to get a new topic area going.

This website has a new "Webmaster". Let me introduce myself. I am Shane Feusier, the new Chemistry teacher at AR, and for some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to be responsible for creating content and updating this website in a timely, professional manner (What WAS I thinking? lol). Thanks to the help and efforts of CR's Webmaster, Brian Van Pelt, we now have access to this site and look for your input to make this site a dynamic and valuable resource for the AR community.
Several suggestions for new information to be posted have included:
I am sure that there are many more creative ideas out there and I am happy to have taken the helm of making this web site presence an asset for our community, and more importantly, for our students.
Please feel free to email me any suggestions you may have about improving the content and interactivity for this site. You can contact me by sending me email at the following address: sf@pvnrt.com Please use an appropriate Subject Line so our email filter doesn't send your message into electron decay.
