ACT - AmeriCorps Program Benefits

1. Experience working with children in an elementary school.
2. An educational award of $1,000 or $1250 at the completion of service.

4. Federal Work Study positions available at $8/hour to qualified financial aid students.
5. College courses articulated to Humboldt State University's Liberal Studies and Child Development Elementary Education Majors.
6. Assistance with standardized teacher preparation tests (CBEST & CSET)
7. Workshops and Training (Leadership, Communication, etc.)
8. Assistance in planning your transition to Humboldt State University or other four-year institution.
9. Making a difference in the lives of children as part of a dedicated team.
