For over two decades, Chris Crass has researched, written, and implemented campaigns around supporting underrepresented students, namely students of color, in various parts of the country. As a white activist, Crass understands the need for systemic change in order to produce equitable results, and he argues that this must be done while simultaneously building community and supporting individual transformation. Crass has authored numerous books including Towards Collective Liberation, Towards “The Other America,” and Collective Liberation on My Mind.
