Documentary Film Screening: 13th
Tuesday, February 21, 6:30 p.m., Performing Arts Theater, Eureka Campus
The Book of the Year Committee, in coordination with the Black Student Union, will screen the documentary, 13th. Scholars, activists, and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the US prison boom in this documentary. After the film, the Black Student Union will facilitate a discussion. Soul food will be provided in front of the theatre at 5:00 p.m. prior to the screening.
