The College of the Redwoods Dash of Color is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk starting and finishing in the CR football stadium and traversing the CR campus. The untimed event emphasizes fun over competition. Runners begin dressed in clean white t-shirts, and pass through a color station once every kilometer. Each color station is staffed with volunteers blasting the runners with dyed cornstarch out of spray bottles. Runners complete the course covered in the safe and colorful powder.
Dash of Color is an annual fundraising event for CR Football, Track & Field, Cross Country and the CR Foundation.
