Join us for this introductory workshop to learn more about the Reading Apprenticeship (RA) framework. This framework helps teachers support students across disciplines and levels to become motivated, strategic, and critical readers, thinkers, and writers, to develop positive literacy identities, and to engage with challenging academic texts. Participants will practice several RA routines that support the development of academic literacy. Continental breakfast and lunch included.
