The College of the Redwoods Foundation has announced that it has more Enrollment Scholarships available for the 2008 fall semester.
Last year, CR created a new initiative where up to 100 students will be able to receive scholarships which will waive their first-semester enrollment fees, which are $20 a unit. The scholarships can save a student up to $300.
The requirements to be eligible for the scholarship are that one must live within the CR District boundaries and be a new full-time student, meaning he or she must take at least 12 units. Also, one must fill out a Free Applications for Federal Student Aid FAFSA) form. Students who qualify for California resident tuition rates under Assembly Bill (AB) 540 may also qualify for this scholarship.
The Enrollment Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
