College of the Redwoods sophomore left fielder Cari Killingsworth was awarded All-Golden Valley Conference (GVC) honors for her performance this season. A 2006 graduate of Ferndale High School, Killingsworth was selected All-GVC First Team as an outfielder.
Killingsworth hit for a .368 batting average this season and had 33 stolen bases. Her stolen base total was tops in the GVC and tied for the lead in the state.
In addition, two Corsair freshmen were named All-GVC Honorable Mention: Chantel Worley (thirdbase) and Caitlin Wallace (pitcher and firstbase).
