The College of the Redwoods' men's basketball team walked off with a Golden Valley Conference road win, as they defeated Shasta College 62-52 on Wednesday.

”We hit four treys to open the game, and I was a little worried that we were not going to work the ball inside,” said CR head coach Rich Mendoza.

”But we did a good job of being patient and moving the ball.”

Eli Graham tossed in 20 points, Dom Brimson added 15 and Tim Pratt contributed 14 as three Corsairs finished with double-digit scoring.

Renell Gary had a solid all-around game, pulling down 10 rebounds, scoring eight points and dishing out six assists.

CR hosts GVC foe Feather River on Saturday at 4 p.m.
