2009 Football Schedule Set

The Northern California Football Alliance (NCFA) for state community colleges has released schedules for member schools including College of the Redwoods.

The schedule features five home contests, as well as five road games. The opening game on September 5 is at College of the Siskiyous. The first home game is September 12 against perennial northern California power Santa Rosa Junior College. Redwoods also faces 2008 state champions Butte College at home on September 26. Other home games include October 17 with Contra Costa College, November 7 against Yuba College and November 14 with Shasta College. The October 17 game with Contra Costa has been selected as the Corsair’s Homecoming Game.
