20th YEAR CELEBRATION
COLLEGE OF THE REDWOODS FOUNDATION LEAGUE’S
"ELEGANT FLEA" – RUMMAGE SALE
The Collage of the Redwoods Foundation League, "CRFL", is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their "ELEGANT FLEA" rummage sale. This year’s "Elegant Flea" is at the Humboldt Hill Grange at 5845 Humboldt Hill Road on the dates of Saturday August 7 between 8 am and 4 pm and on Sunday August 8 between 9 am and 3 pm.
Donations are now being accepted for gently used rummage from housewares to children’s toys, sporting goods, clothing, furniture and much more. TV’s, computers and some electronics are not accepted. For further information about donations or to arrange to have your rummage picked up contact Shirley Davis – 442-6255 or Muriel Dinsmore – 445-1044. We will also accept donated items at the Humboldt Hill Grange on Thursday August 5 and Friday August 6 from 9:00 to 3:00.
All sale proceeds go toward scholarships for CR students. The CRFL has awarded over $125,000 in the past two decades. According to Co-Presidents Shirley Davis and Muriel Dinsmore, “The League fills the needs of qualifying students at all three CR Campuses; Mendocino, Crescent City and Eureka”.
Thanks to your generous donations the College of the Redwoods Foundation League is proud to provide substantial financial assistance in the form of scholarships to CR students. Students interested may contact the Scholarship Office www.redwoods.edu/District/scholarships/ at any of the three Campuses before scholarship application deadline of February 2011.
