Register for College of the Redwoods Spring Semester 2012 classes!

Things to know:

  • Priority registration for continuing students begins Nov 7 and continues through Nov 10.
  • Continuing Student Registration begins Nov 14 and continues through Nov 18.
  • New Student registration begins Monday, Nov 21.
  • You must pay to stay in school! Students must make full payment of their fees before December 21 or they will be dropped from courses. Deregistration of students owing fees will continue until the beginning of the spring term. Students with the Board of Governor’s fee waiver, known as the BOG, must pay their health, material, audit and student activity fees.
  • The per-unit fee is $36 – still the best community college deal in the country. CR offers financial aid options. Apply early!

How to Apply/Enroll

At College of the Redwoods, the enrollment process includes more than filling out an application, registering for classes and paying fees. There’s a special program designed to help students succeed in college. It’s called ”matriculation” and it includes the following steps:

  • assessment (math and English placement tests)
  • orientation
  • academic advising
  • registration
  • the development of an educational plan

By working with an advisor, College of the Redwoods will help you to meet these responsibilities and work with you to build a plan of success in college.

 Five Steps to Enroll

  1. Submit New Student Application Form
  2. Participate in a Skills Assessment/ English and Math Placement Tests
  3. Participate in an Initial Academic Advising Session
  4. Register for Classes
  5. Complete a Student Educational Plan
