INCOMPLETE GRADES
Under extenuating circumstances, instructors may grant
students a grade of Incomplete (“I”) in a course. To qualify
for an “I” grade, students must meet the following conditions:
- Most of the academic course work must have already
been completed and there must be justifiable,
extenuating circumstances that prevent the student
from completing the course in the current term.
- The “I” must be made up no later than one semester
following the end of the term in which it was assigned
(not including summer or winter sessions).
In addition, students should understand that:
- Students may not re-enroll in a course in which
they have received an “I” grade. Students work
independently with instructors to complete the
remaining course requirements, including assignments,
projects, and exams.
- If the work is not completed by the following term, the
student will receive an “F” grade
