In the 2006-2007 year, approximately 80 CR students were enrolled in the Honors Program. Some of our most distinguished faculty have designed a special two-year course of study that will apply to General Education transfer requirements at any university and provide advanced academic preparation not possible in traditionally structured classes. The Honors Program at College of the Redwoods is truly a low-cost, high-quality alternative for your first two years of college work. For information: Honors Program Coordinator, College of the Redwoods, 7351 Tompkins Hill Road, Eureka, CA 95501-9300. The Curriculum Honors sections are designated in the class schedule. Enrollment is restricted to members of the Honors Tentative Honors Core Curriculum Fall 2007 Spring 2008 Enrollment and Scholarship Support Enrollment in honors classes is limited to twenty students. Admission to the Honors Program will automatically confer a partial fee waiver. We encourage students to request application forms by writing to: Honors Program Coordinator CR Honors Program Four of the College of the Redwoods Honors Program students, their faculty adviser and a CR Board of Trustee member showcase a new certificate from the University of California at Los Angeles Transfer Alliance Program (TAP). Approximately eight CR Honors Program students, using the TAP, will transfer to UCLA in fall 2007.
