ITAL-1A Elementary Italian
(4 units lecture) CR/NC option CSU and UC A beginning course in Italian. Instruction in understanding, speaking, reading and writing Italian with an emphasis on speaking and pronunciation.

ITAL-1B Elementary Italian
(4 units lecture) Grade Only CSU and UC A continuation of ITAL-1A, with continued emphasis on speaking and communication and further instruction in understanding, reading, and writing Italian. Prerequisite: ITAL-1A
