The Autumn Vintage Wine Gala & Auction is an annual fund-raising event held in the fall to benefit various departments at College of the Redwoods.  Sponsored by College of the Redwoods, the Gala & Auction is held at the historic Eureka Inn where participants enjoy a weekend of live music, food, dancing, and wine.  Various businesses donate wine, food, and lodging as items for the silent and live auction. 

Every year proceeds from this event goes to support a selected department at College of the Redwoods.  In past years, the Disabled Student Services, Dental Hygienist Program, and Hospitality Institute have benefited from the Gala & Auction.  Behind all the fun and fund-raising, a lot of work was devoted to preparing for the successful event.  Several individuals and campus clubs volunteered their time to decorate, present auction items, and clean up after the event.  AGS spent a Sunday afternoon bringing down the lights and transporting boxes to storage.
