Join us in welcoming Josh Norris, as he speaks on What A Truly Inclusive Educational Environment Looks Like (And it's not a "Multi-Cultural Night.")
Norris, a Yurok Tribal member, was born in Crescent City and is raising four children ages 2-18. He lives in Klamath and teaches at Ta'-aat-dvn, as well as Native Studies at Del Norte High School.
For over 20 years, he has taught in under-served, underrepresented communities. Josh believes that academic achievement has less to do with individual decisions and more with how students are conditioned to relate to education.
Please don't miss this fabulous talk and discussion!
It is the policy of College of the Redwoods not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, age, or sexual orientation in its educational programs and its employment practices. Read Full Policy Here
