Programs
Ceremonies and Outside Activities
- Ceremonies: Students are encouraged to attend the College
of the Redwoods graduation exercises to receive their AS degree or Certificate
of Achievement and the program nursing pinning ceremony.
- Outside
Activities: Another component of the nursing programs is community
involvement. Each year, there are many
outside-of-class activities in which students may participate in at least one
event. Such events may include: blood
drive, health fair, career fair, high school visits, blood pressure screening,
and others. Nurs 24 in the ADN program has
a mandatory community service requirement.
