Read the following section in your Bedford Handbook before you start the exercises:

Then go to Grammatical Sentences and do the exercises under Pronoun Reference.  _______________________________________________________________________________________________

(Directions: Correct the following sentences for errors in pronoun reference.  Cross out the incorrect pronoun and write the correct pronoun on the line to the right.  In some of these sentences you need to decide on an antecedent that the incorrect pronoun might logically refer to and write the antecedent on the line to the right.)

 

1)   The guy was so clueless that we treated him just like

a blonde that had used an eraser on his computer.             __________________

 

2)   After working in the computer lab, Larry looked once, looked

twice, then stuffed one under his coat and snuck out
