Factors to consider:
1) How recent is it?
2) What is the extension to the URL? .edu? .com? .net?
.org?
Some information on domain
names
3) How scholarly? Is it peer reviewed or in the mainstream media?
4) Does the person have any credentials?
5) Is there any apparent bias? What's
created that bias?
6) What secondary sources does the author/website provide?
7) Who sponsored or built the site?
8) Was it a published piece of work? Where did it appear?
9) What sort of support does the author/website provide?
10) Are any assumptions questionable?
11) Does the author fall prey to any logical fallacies?
