| Homework | 1) Read the "Six Essential Elements of Drama" and "The Elements of Drama Today" on pp. 1372-1385. | |
| 2) Read "Death of a Salesman" on p. 1852 | ||
| 3) Prepare a 3 x 5 card with questions you have about the play (you might look at some of the "Topics for Critical Thinking" at the end of the play for help. | ||
| 4) Write Journal 10: How is this play essentially a critique of the American Dream? | ||
| 5) Print a copy of Dave's story on the class website and read it. Dave will be reading it aloud in class on Thursday. You might bring several questions you have about the story and how it was written or what its theme is. | ||
