| 5) Go over Presentation Assignment, select groups, and draw lots. The first presentation will be in Week 12, Class 22. | ||

1) Read the introduction on Structure, etc. on pp. 423-425 and then read Chinua Achebe's "The Sacrificial Egg" p. 425 and Anita Desai's "Studies in the Park" p. 428. | |
| 2) Prepare a 3 x 5 card with two questions for each story. | ||
| 3) Brainstorm and come up with a list of five other contemporary authors whom you think should be on our presentation list. | ||
