Dick Stull

Richard Arlin (Dick) Stull grew up in Berkeley and loves jazz, boxing, the Greek classics, art and music.  When he’s not teaching in the Kinesiology program at HSU, he enjoys spoken word performance and writing.  A featured poet on the 2003-2004 HSU Scholars Calendar, Dick has performed poetry and prose locally at the Morris Graves Museum Humboldt Arts Council Series and just about every other local venue.  He is also a regular contributor of fiction and poetry to the Sport Literature Association where he served as President at their 19th Annual Conference at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, in 2002.   One reviewer wrote that Dick’s delivery style is a cross between Miles Davis and Bruce Lee.
