We put together a very
special event for Friday, April 2, 2004
at 7 pm in College of the Redwoods' Forum Theater.
This was the first joint CR/HSU Visiting Writers' Series venture
and featured local writers reading from their work about
what makes life special on the North Coast and in our small towns.
The writers included Daryl Ngee Chinn, Richard
Cortez Day, Jeff DeMark,
Jim Dodge, Ellen Givins, Cecelia
Holland, Celia Homesley, Freeman
House,
Laura Koskinen, Julian Lang, Jerry
Martien, Pat McCutcheon, Ruth
Mountaingrove,
Jude Nutter, Roy Parvin, Vinnie
Peloso, Ray Raphael, Jerry
Rohde,
Amy Stewart, and Dick Stull.
