COLLEGE OF THE REDWOODS Board of Trustees Policy No. 508
Administrative Regulation No. 508.03

ACCEPTANCE OF TRANSFER CREDIT

All credit transferred to College of the Redwoods must have been earned at a college or university accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations in the United States.

Students wishing to transfer credit to College of the Redwoods must provide the Office of Enrollment Services with an official transcript from each college or university attended. Transcripts are considered official only when they bear the signature of an appropriate officer and the official seal of the issuing institution and are delivered to College of the Redwoods in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. Official transcripts become the property of College of the Redwoods and will not be returned.

College of the Redwoods accepts only grades of “C” or better in each course required for the degree, except for unrestricted electives. Unrestricted electives are courses that are not specifically required to meet program or general education requirements. A minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0 is required for all courses applied to the degree. Grades earned at other colleges and universities are not used in computing the student's College of the Redwoods cumulative GPA.
