COMMUNITY SERVICES

Community services classes and activities are characterized by the fact that they serve more personal than public interests.

For the purpose of establishing criteria for determining what will be a community service class, it will be acknowledged that any course which does not qualify as baccalaureate appropriate and does not lead to a certificate or A.A. Degree may be considered for a community services class.

Further, community service classes will be non-ADA and non-credit and will have a fee assigned to them. Community services include:

1. Community Services Classes

A. Avocational Classes
B. Recreational Classes
C. Seminars, Lecture Series, Forum Series, Workshops, and Conferences
D. Professional and Occupational Inservice Classes

2. Community Service Activities

A. Civic Center Activities
B. Cultural Activities
C. Community Development Activities
D. Recreational Activities
