PROBATIONARY STATUS

Probationary service will be for six months. Time spent on leave of absence will not apply toward completion of the probationary period.

At any time prior to the expiration of the probationary period, the Board of Trustees may in its sole discretion dismiss a probationary classified employee from the employ of the District. A probationary classified employee shall not be entitled to a hearing or to any statement of reasons for the Board's action. Written notice of such action shall be provided to the employee within fifteen (15) calendar days after the Board's action.

At the satisfactory conclusion of the established probationary period, each employee is deemed to be a permanent employee.

The anniversary date of the employee will be determined by the date of employment on the present position
