STUDENT INSURANCE

The Board will not act as insurer for any student but recognizes the need for student accident insurance coverage for unforeseen accidents that may occur in the course of attendance at school or student participation in College programs.

The Board will maintain the most cost-effective insurance coverage for injury resulting from accidents sustained in the course of participation in College programs and activities. The cost for the student insurance programs shall be paid through the Student Health Fee fund, except for athletic costs.
