Hard of Hearing
Deaf/HOH means total deafness or a hearing loss so severe that a student is impaired in processing information through hearing, with or without amplification. College of the Redwoods has a long history of providing quality support services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Support services provided include: Sign Language Interpreters, Real-Time Captioners, Tutors, and Notetakers.
Deaf or HOH does not apply where the loss or impairment is the result of a Psychological Disability, Autism, or an Acquired Brain Impairment.
Eligibility For Services
The Verification form must be signed by a
physician or other licensed hearing professional.
