Child Development Center
Food Program
The CDC participates in the Child Care Food Program. The food program is a part of the curriculum and provides an opportunity for children to learn concepts in areas such as nutrition, social/emotional, math, science, and language. The menu at the CDC limits the use of sugar, fat, salt, and additives. Breakfast, lunch and snack menus are posted in each classroom. The Center provides nutritious meals (breakfast and lunch) and an afternoon snack daily. If your child is scheduled to be at the CDC during meals or snack, he/she will be served the food as indicated on the posted menu in each classroom. |
