The CR Eureka Counseling and Advising Center provides services to help students determine their aptitudes, plan educational programs, choose their careers, acquire needed educational/occupational information and resolve related personal problems.
Students can receive assistance from the Counseling and Advising Center in the following areas:
- Academic Advising
- Career Counseling/Decision Making
- Educational Planning/Student Education Plan* Students are encouraged to follow this plan and should meet with a counselor regularly to discuss progress and update the SEP as needed.
- Crisis Intervention
Advisors and counselors are available to meet with students on a walk-in basis. Appointments are necessary for some types of advising. Please stop by the Counseling and Advising Center in the Student Services building (room SS-102) or call 707.476.4150, so we may assist you.
During peak registration periods (usually the first two weeks of each semester) availability of appointments may be limited and counselors and advisors will be available on a walk-in basis only.

CalWORKs is designed to provide training to students who receive assistance from the local Department of Social Services. The purpose of the program is to obtain short-term training leading to employment.
Transfer is a process, not an event! The earlier a student begins the process, the more likely the experience will be hassle-free and successful.
To help ensure transfer success, the Transfer Center provides services and resources which help identify, encourage, motivate and facilitate transfer to other colleges and universities.
