Summer Conferencing
College of the Redwoods is pleased to offer lodging, meeting facilities, recreational areas and dining rooms. Our facilities feature conference rooms, meeting rooms, auditoriums, classrooms, a theatre and lecture rooms. (You may also reserve audio/visual equipment.) Recreational facilities include a stadium, gymnasium, fieldhouse, and a pool. All meeting spaces are within a 5 minute walking distance from our housing facility. The facilities are available from early June to early August. We can accommodate groups as few as 10 to 320 participants for a general assembly.
Eureka is located about 300 miles north of San Francisco a’nd 105 miles from the Oregon/California border. Easily accessible by plane, car or bus the college sits on the beautiful California north coast. The college is located only 30 minutes away from the Eureka/Arcata Airport and just off Highway 101.
Our Housing facilities are double occupancy rooms that are connected to a neighboring room by a private bathroom. Rooms are furnished with 2 twin beds, 2 dressers, 2 desks, a vanity sink and mirror unit, and a large closet. All rooms are wired for cable TV. There are on site laundry facilities and a computer lab with internet access. Recreational equipment available on site include pool tables, ping pong, foosball table, air hockey as well as a wide screen TV. Just outside the housing facility, there are large lawns for recreational purposes, and access to the surrounding forest trails. Also, within a short drive are many stunning beaches, rivers, parks, and the tallest trees in the world; the famous giant coastal Redwoods.
From Banquets for 200 to individual fine dining, the food service staff of College of the Redwoods will cater to your particular needs. Cafeteria line buffet, family style or waited service are all available for you to enjoy. Barbecues, picnics, receptions and banquet dinners can easily be arranged.
