QWoodfair 2006

Thousands of people travel to Eureka for a weekend filled with the finest in woodworking exhibits, vendors, demonstrations and displays.
We invite you to participate in our Nineteenth Annual WoodFair, truly a one-of-a-kind event, celebrating fine woodworking traditions of the North Coast.

VENDOR INFORMATION
Selection Criteria:

  • Wood as the dominant characteristic
  • Quality in product and setup is apparent
  • A ‘single’ booth space is 10’x 10’, a ‘double’ booth space is 10’x 20’. The ‘extra large’ booth will be approximately 20’x 20’. Extra large booths are on limited availability.
  • Each booth with be provided with two tables and two chairs.
  • Those needing electrical outlets must indicate so on this application.
  • Booths must be free-standing. Anchoring of any objects to the floor or walls is prohibited.
  • You or your representative(s) must be present all three days of the event. Booth sitters will be available for breaks.

Booth setup begins Thursday 2/12 from 9am-4pm
Booths MUST be completed by 10am on 2/13
Booth breakdown begins NO EARLIER than 4pm on Sunday 7/15, and booths MUST be completely dismantled by 6pm.

Juried Woodworking Exhibit

Categories Include:
Fine Furniture & Cabinetry, Sculpture & Carving, Woodturning, Small Projects, Musical Instruments and Beginning/Novice, and Most Creative The following prizes will be awarded in each category:

First Place $300
Second Place $150
Third Place $50
There will be one $500 prize for Best of Show, and one $300 prize for Most Creative

DELIVERY AND SHIPMENT OF JURIED WORK
Accepted works can be hand-delivered to Redwood Acres Fairgrounds Main Exhibit Building on Wednesday, July 11th between 10am and 4pm. Entries may be shipped (prepaid), to arrive no later than Friday July 6th at 5pm.

SALES
Should the sale of juried items occur, the College does not take commissions or participate in those sales.

REMOVAL OF JURIED WORKS
All entries must remain for the duration of WoodFair until 4:00 pm Sunday. All entries must be removed from the premises no later than 5:00 pm on Sunday.

AGREEMENT
Submission to WoodFair grants College of the Redwoods the right to photograph exhibited works and use submitted photos for publicity and educational purposes. We reserve the right to decline for exhibition works which, after arriving, differ greatly from the entry photo or do not meet the stated criteria.

  • Complete application
  • Attach a photo of your juried show entry / booth
  • Enclose payment with this section of application

$40.00 for each Juried Entry
$90.00 for 10 x 10 booth
$160.00 for 10 x 20 booth
$200.00 for extra large booth

No refunds for cancellations
