Researchers, at the University of Maryland, released a recent study that showed that people, who are the most misinformed about Iraq and 9-11, tend to strongly support the war against Iraq, people who are the most accurately informed tend to oppose, the war. In fact 80% of those who hold the most misconceptions and have the most inaccurate information about Iraq and 9-11 support war but, only 23% of those with most accurate information, support war.
Additionally the report which was made public in Fall of 2002 showed that those who watch Fox News channel tend to be the most misinformed, and have the most misconceptions, however, those who listen to NPR tend to be the most accurately informed, and have the fewest misconceptions. If we think about the significance of this study we should see clearly that the Fox News Network is an unreliable, source of information.
