The sites below should help prepare you for our classroom discussion and review for unit tests throughout the term. More importantly, your understanding and ability to identify errors and correct them will help make your writing clearer and more effective. First, read through the description pages and explanatory handouts at the beginning of each Unit Test section. If you pay special attention to the differences and similarities in how the different links describe the concept, you'll have a much stronger sense of the ideas. When you think you understand the concept, do the exercises and pre-tests at the various online links. I will also ask you to give me feedback on the sites you visited (and I will take your feedback into consideration in the participation portion of your grade). Please make sure you have done this before our class discussion listed in the Course Schedule.
