College of the Redwoods will offer two youth basketball camps this summer, starting in July. The girls’ basketball camp will take place July 6 to July 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is for girls from 2nd to 8th grade. The boys’ camp will take place from July 19 to 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is for boys from 3rd to 8th grade.
All basketball camps feature lessons in footwork, ball handling, passing, rebounding, individual defense, team defense, shooting drills, shooting techniques, and shooting competitions. The campers will be coached by CR coaching staff and current and former CR basketball team members.
“We will teach the fundamentals of the game while providing a positive atmosphere for your kids” said CR Head Coach Aaron Hungerford. “We encourage players of all skill levels to attend.”
