Bob Brown – Head Coach 14th Season
Bob is returning for his 14th season as head coach for the Corsairs.  The Corsairs return to the diamond this spring after two seasons away due to budget cutbacks. Coach Brown wishes to thank the community and administrative support in bringing back baseball for its 47th season on the north coast. Coach Brown has compiled 148 wins during his tenure at CR which ranks 2nd behind Hall of Fame Coach Tom Giacomini (342). Bob played his college baseball at Treasure Valley Community College (86-88) in Ontario, OR & Eastern Oregon University (89-91) in LaGrande, OR. He earned his Master's Degree in Kinesiology in 2001 from Humboldt State University. Bob and his wife Debby have two daughters, Bailey 6 & Daylin 3 and reside in Fortuna, CA.

Brad Morgan – Assistant Coach – Hitting Instructor 1st Season
Brad is entering his first year with the Corsairs as an assistant coach and will be working with the catcher's and the serve as a hitting instructor. Brad also serves as an associate faculty member at the College teaching in both Kinesiology and General Studies. Brad played for the Corsairs in 2006 & 2007 where he earned 1st team All-Conference honors. Brad went on to play at Div II New Mexico Highlands in 2009 & 2010. Brad earned both his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Kinesiology at Highlands while serving as the strength and conditioning coach for both the baseball and wrestling program from 2011-2013. Brad also has played 3 seasons and coached for 3 seasons with the semi-pro baseball program Humboldt Crabs

Spencer Duggan – Assistant Coach – Infield Coach 1st Season
Spencer is entering his first season with the Corsairs and will be in charge of the infielder's while assisting with hitting. Spencer played for the Corsairs in 2009 & 2010 where he earned All-Conference honors. He then played at NAIA Bellevue University in Nebraska in 2011 & 2012. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in the fall of 2013. Spencer also played in parts of three seasons and has coached one with the Humboldt Crabs. He was their Most Valuable Player in 2012.  

Ruben Rios – Assistant Coach – Pitching 1st Season
Ruben is entering his first season with the Corsairs and will work with the pitching staff. After redshirting his first season Ruben played for the Corsairs in 2010 & 2011. He then transferred and earned a scholarship to pitch at Div I North Carolina Central University in 2012 & 2013. He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology in spring of 2013. Ruben has also pitched two seasons for the Humboldt Crabs and was the winning pitcher in the league championship game this past summer.

David Kennedy – Assistant Coach – Pitching 2nd Season
David is returning to assist with the pitching staff for his second season. David pitched for the Corsairs in 2006 & 2007. After finishing at CR, David earned a professional contract signing with the Independent leagues. After 3 different stints professionally including time in Germany, David returned to assist the Corsairs in 2011.

Jim Smith – Statistician – 8th Season
Jim is returning for his 8th season with the Corsairs as the head statistician. Jim has also worked extensively with the local American Legion baseball program for over 10 years as board president, treasurer and statistician. Jim's son Jimmy was a standout player for the Corsairs in 2006 & 2007 before transferring to Bethany College in Kansas.
