Are you wanting to transfer to another university after your time at CR?
It's important to know that to be able to transfer, you need to first apply to your target schools through a thing called an admissions application.
Most students are ready for, or very close to, transfer out of CR when they have completed at least 60 units.
Having 60 units is one of the requirements that makes you qualify as an upper division transfer student.
If you are expecting to transfer after this spring term: The deadline to turn in an admissions application to attend Cal Poly Humboldt Fall 2023 is March 31, 2023 for all upper division transfer students in all majors except software engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science.
Students needing help with their Humboldt application, understanding next steps to take after applying, or hearing from other transfer student experiences, can register for online workshops here: Transfer Workshops (humboldt.edu)
Want to see what’s required to transfer? Or are you ready to apply? You can do all of that here: Applying to Humboldt | Office of Admissions
Here are other CSUs that have extended their deadlines for upper division transfer students in almost all majors:
- Chico 6/1/23
- East Bay 4/1/23
- San Francisco 3/25/23
- San Marcos 3/15/23
- Stanislaus 3/27/23
Other schools may still be extending deadlines for limited major. Check it all out and apply here: Cal State Apply | CSU
