On Friday August 16, 2019 the CR Eureka campus will experience complete power outage from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
As part of the Utilities Infrastructure Replacement Project and impending demolition of the former library building it was discovered that one of the main electrical feeds to the campus routes through the former library electrical equipment. It has been determined necessary to re-route this line prior to the start of school to minimize the impact to the campus in the future. The shutdown will affect all electrical and IT/internet systems at the main campus and the IT/internet systems at the Del Norte and Klamath Trinity campuses.
CR's website and Webmail/Outlook email will also be down on Friday, August 16th.
Datatel, SARS, WebAdvisor, and all webapps.redwoods.edu will also be down on August 16th. Canvas will be accessible at https://redwoods.instructure.com/login/canvas
Due to this interruption of services all College of the Redwoods sites will be closed and staff will be given release time for the day.
