Single Sign-on (SSO)

CR will be implementing a Single Sign-on solution that will allow access to Canvas, Email, and other campus systems with only one set of credentials (no more need for multiple passwords!). For a full list of apps that will be under the new SSO Portal, you can visit https://myapps.microsoft.com/Redwoods.edu/

We hope the process goes relatively smoothly, but you can find some resources on this page to help with any issues that you may be running into as we cross into this new land.

If you are using a mobile device, please make sure you are in an area with good Wifi coverage and good cell service, as you will need to configure your Multi-Factor Authentication either by text or by downloading the Microsoft Authenticator App.

Can't Access Canvas from the SSO Portal

Clear the browser cache

If you're not able to access Canvas from within the SSO Portal make sure to clear your browser's cache.

  1. Log out of the SSO Portal
  2. Clear your browser's cache
    MAC: How do I clear my browser's cache on a Mac?
    PC: How do I clear my browser's cache on a PC?
  3. Log back into the SSO Portal
