About Us

Student Health Center

Basic health services are provided to the College of the Redwoods community through the Student Health Center on the Eureka Main Campus. Many on-campus services are free of charge and are funded by the Student Health Fees. Students are required to pay the cost of off-campus services.

Closed Nov. 25-29, reopen on Dec. 2

Monday: 1 pm – 5 pm
Tuesday: 8 am – 12pm & 1 pm – 5 pm
Wednesday: 1 pm – 5 pm
Thursday: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Friday: 1 pm – 5pm

  • Minor medical care for illnesses and injuries
  • Blood pressure and vision screenings
  • Physical exams
  • Immunization & testing
  • Health promotion
  • Other services provided by a Nurse Practitioner or RN

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to closing for walk in services to ensure adequate time to be seen.

  • First aid/care provided for injuries

Make Health a Priority!

Set specific, measurable goals. Plan rewards for each good health goal you achieve. Even small lifestyle changes can lead to a healthier life.

  • Make regular exercise a part of your routine.
  • Eat a diet low in fats, salt and cholesterol.
  • Get plenty of sleep each night.
  • Learn to manage stress.
  • If you smoke or use tobacco — quit.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Drink alcohol only in moderation and remember: alcohol and driving never mix.
  • Reach out to others.
  • Take time to smell the roses.
  • Look for the humor in life.
