Student Health Center

The Student Health Center on-campus hours starting the Fall 2021 semester are as follows.

Monday and Wednesday
10 a.m. – 3p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday
8:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Friday: Closed

TB testing, due to the time requirements for reading the TB tests these will only be offered on Monday and Tuesday mornings with the reading of the skin test 48 hours later. We will require appointments. Call (707) 476-4149 to schedule.

All these services are now available 24/7 via phone, video, and chat through the Kiira App.

Mental Health Resources

Hours of service are Thursdays and Fridays, 9am-2pm.

Sessions are telehealth mental health counseling via phone and 30, 45, or 60 minutes in duration depending on need. Please email shawnabmft@gmail.com or text Shawna Bell, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Master Addictions Counselor at 707-496-2856 to request services and Shawna will contact you regarding scheduling.

Students must complete the Client Information Form and fax to Shawna at 707-237-2318 prior to starting counseling services. This form will be emailed to you to print and fill out and return via fax.

Students seeking or in need of long term psychotherapy are recommended to establish with therapy in the community and http://ncamhp.org or the Students' insurance provider has listings of community Therapists.

Services Available

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to closing for walk in services to ensure adequate time to be seen.

  • First aid/care provided for injuries
  • Visits with registered nurses, and nurse practitioner
  • Treatment for acute injuries and illnesses

Make Health a Priority!

Set specific, measurable goals. Plan rewards for each good health goal you achieve. Even small lifestyle changes can lead to a healthier life.

  • Make regular exercise a part of your routine.
  • Eat a diet low in fats, salt and cholesterol.
  • Get plenty of sleep each night.
  • Learn to manage stress.
  • If you smoke or use tobacco — quit.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Drink alcohol only in moderation and remember: alcohol and driving never mix.
  • Reach out to others.
