The 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid ("FAFSA") will be used to determine financial aid eligibility, including for Pell Grant, for the 2019-2020 academic year. This includes Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020. More information on Disbursements can be found here.
Enrollment Status Date:
This date determines units used to calculate eligible aid. Students must have an award indicated on their award letter by this date to be eligible for the corresponding disbursement date.
Classes added or switched after this date may not count toward your disbursed amount until the midterm disbursement for the term. Students who receive their award letters after the first disbursement date will be awarded on the next scheduled disbursement date.
If you owe money to the college all funds will be applied to that debt first. The remaining balance, if any, will be disbursed to you via the refund choice you have selected.
Disbursement dates are the expected date that funds will be released to Bank Mobile. The actual date that you receive the funds will depend on the account refund method you have chosen. Funds are usually available after 1pm PST on the same day for BankMobile Vibe account holders OR within 2 to 3 business days if you choose to deposit to another account.
Dropping Classes and/or Failing to Attend Classes:
If you drop all of your classes or you do not attend and have already received your refund of financial aid funds, you may be required to repay some or all of your aid to the school. Please see the Policies and Procedures information on the Financial Aid website.
Please review additional information on disbursements and eligibility available on our website www.redwoods.edu/financialaid/Stay-Eligible .
