Description: Welcome to our Financial Aid workshop on Financial Aid. This workshop will discuss what financial aid is, how you apply and how to access helpful resources. This workshop is recorded and available for viewing during the 20202-2021 academic year.


 

Financial Aid Application Drop in Help!

 

When: February 24, 2021 | 1:00-4:00pm

How: Via Cranium Café

Instructions: Need help with applying for financial aid? Drop into the virtual Financial Aid Office for one on one assistance on February 24, 2021 from 1:00-4:00pm. Students can instant chat privately, video chat or chat by audio only. Video chat requires a webcam and microphone, and audio only requires access to a microphone. Use the link below to test your computer and use the financial aid virtual lobby link on February 24 between 1:00-4:00 to drop in for assistance.

 



Topic: Understanding Student Loans | Recorded

Description: Welcome to our Financial Aid workshop on understanding student loans. This workshop will discuss the current federal student loan program, how to apply for student loans, and how to manage student loans. This workshop will be recorded and available for viewing during the 20202-2021 academic year. Registration is required for the live workshop, if no students are registered 24 hours prior, the live workshop will be cancelled and a recording will be posted on the financial aid website on the day of the workshop.

Topic: Creating a Budget (Part I) | Recorded

Description: Welcome to our Financial Literacy Workshop on Creating a Budget! We will be going over what a budget is, how to create a budget and how your financial aid fits into budgeting. This workshop will be recorded for later viewing throughout the 2020-21 academic year. Registration is required for the live presentation. If there are no registered students 24 hours prior, the live workshop will be cancelled and the recording will be posted the day of the workshop. Topic: Advance Budgeting (Part II) | Recorded
When: April 16, 2021 | 11:00am-12:00pm

Description: Welcome to our Financial Literacy Workshop on Advance Budgeting! We will be going over the next steps after you have created a basic budget, we will be reviewing how to transfer the budget to excel and how to account for irregular expenses. We will be discussing what Identity theft is, how it happens, how to protect yourself and what to do if your identity is stolen. Registration is required for the live presentation. Description: Welcome to our Financial Literacy Workshop on Managing Debt, we will be discussing how to manage a variety of debt from student loans to credit cards. We will discuss techniques and effective ways to manage debt. Registration is required for the live presentation. If there are no registered students 24 hours prior, the live workshop will be cancelled and the recording will be posted the day of the workshop.
