2022 Summer Fish & Feathers Internship at Redwood National and State Parks

 

Redwood National and State Parks, in partnership with Environment for the Americas, has an exciting internship opportunity available this summer, the Fish and Feathers Program.

 

The Fish and Feathers Program seeks to engage ethnically and racially diverse young professionals in natural resources careers. We are looking for candidates that enjoy working outdoors, fishing, birding, exploring national and state parks and working with communities.

 

Below are some of the details for this program, which begins May 16th and runs through August 5th, 2022.  The application deadline is February 20th, 2022.  We are hoping to engage local young professionals in this internship opportunity, and we would be grateful if you would be willing to share this opportunity within the College of the Redwoods community. A flyer and job description is attached to this email, and details are also listed below.

 

Compensation:

  • Weekly Stipend of $500
  • Travel Reimbursement
  • Housing Provided

 

Basic Eligibility:

  • Age 18 to 30; Military veterans up to age 35
  • Possess US citizenship or legal resident
  • Available for duration of internship – May 16th – August 5th, 2022.
